Perspicuity is seeking an experienced and ambitious SharePoint developer to help develop, grow and potentially lead an already-successful team.

Perspicuity is a well-established Microsoft Gold Partner, specialising in Cloud (BPOS), SharePoint and .Net based solutions.  We have recently been selected by Microsoft as a Cloud solutions “Accelerate” partner and we are part of a very small group of partners known as the “preference team” who specialise in providing services around Microsoft’s Cloud products.  We have a well-developed strategy and approach to the market which is fully supported by Microsoft.

About You

We need you to play an influential role in a team of developers. The role involves carrying out development work, providing assistance in sales situations, preparing demonstrations and leading design and planning workshops.  You should therefore be confident and capable in customer situations, a good listener, articulate (written and verbal) and numerate.

In addition to your personal skills we are looking specifically for someone who has the following technical skills and experience:

• SharePoint Web Content Management – been a key player in the design and build of SharePoint based web sites.  Have a good understanding of the capabilities and is able to customise the look and feel.  Good experience with accessibility enhancements to SharePoint
• SharePoint customisation – good experience in building custom applications on SharePoint using Visual Studio,  including custom web parts, connections to external data sources, timer jobs and event receivers and have been involved in numerous SharePoint customisation projects
• Good understanding of SharePoint best practices especially when designing and building custom components, experience with configuring and understanding CAS policies
• Good understanding of SQL databases and relational database concepts
• Good understanding of SharePoint infrastructure and architecture
• Real SharePoint 2010 exposure having delivered real projects
