Ben GowerBen Gower
Role: Managing Director

What does your role involve?
I work with our suppliers, staff, partners and customers to come up with creative ways of using technology and developing the business. For instance, I developed our consultancy, support and development service in direct collaboration with one of our clients. We now provide that service to many other customers, which feels like a real achievement.

What’s your background?
I was previously employed by businesses such as Xerox and Atos Origin, and worked my way through to managerial roles. While I enjoyed my time in the corporate world, I thrive on helping businesses of all sizes to get real value from the work we do.

What’s your area of specialism?
Using technology to help businesses improve their performance. My role as MD of Perspicuity gives me a valuable insight into the way that businesses work. This, in turn, helps me to connect and communicate with other business managers.

Why do you think Perspicuity is unique?
Because our clients and our staff are more important to us than the bottom line.

Tim CrundenTim Crunden
Role: Chief Technology Officer

What does your role involve?
I advise on technical strategy, and act as the lead designer and architect for the majority of Perspicuity’s solutions. I am also responsible for day-to-day client management, and have oversight of pre-sales activities.

What’s your background?
I have a First Class Honours degree in computer science, and 18 years’ experience in the IT industry. I’m also a certified Microsoft professional.
I started my career as an IT support engineer, before moving on to more technical roles and managing key IT infrastructure projects.

What’s your area of specialism?
I specialise in information and document management, with a particular focus on Microsoft solutions such as SharePoint and Office 365. I advise clients on how they can use these products to solve a multitude of business challenges, as well as undertaking technical design.

Why do you think Perspicuity is unique?
The company has specialised in providing information management solutions from day one. This has enabled us to develop best practices, and given us the knowhow to provide real value to our clients.

Rupert Squires
Role: Operations Director

What does your role involve?
I fulfil a variety of roles, including Project Manager, HR Manager, Finance Manager and Account Manager. I oversee client projects and the finances of the business, get involved in recruiting new staff, and support their ongoing development.

What’s your background?
I have worked in IT consultancy for two years. Prior to that, I held roles such as E-commerce Developer and IT Manager for a range of businesses that included a FTSE250 insurance company.

What’s your area of specialism?
I am passionate about results, and pride myself on my management skills and ordered approach.

Brian CowieBrian Cowie
Role: Commercial Director

What does your role involve?
I have created a marketing engine to bring the Cloud to market, and I help clients to understand and exploit the business potential it creates. I also manage Perspicuity’s relationship with Microsoft.

What’s your background?
An early career in technical project management led me into sales, sales management and then big general management roles. I chose to join Perspicuity as I am driven by the cut-and-thrust of small business.

What’s your area of specialism?
Helping clients to exploit technology for the good of their business.
